Lightweight Aluminum Guardrail Systems for Mezzanines and Walkways

Aluminum safety railings provide durable guardrail protection for mezzanine edges, uneven walkways, elevated platforms, equipment areas, and pedestrian traffic zones. Built from schedule 40 aluminum pipe with a 1-5/8 inch outside diameter, these railings offer a lighter alternative to steel while still supporting dependable protection in warehouses, manufacturing plants, maintenance areas, and commercial facilities.

OSHA-Compliant Railing Design

Each railing section includes a 42 inch high top rail and 21 inch midrail to support compliance with OSHA General Industry guardrail requirements. The high rail and midrail layout helps define safe boundaries around drop-offs, work areas, and restricted access zones.

Mounting and Layout Flexibility

Compatible mounting options include socket sleeves, cast steel bases, barricade bases, wall mount brackets, and removable sockets. Toe boards, gates, hinged connectors, and anchor bolts are available to help build complete safety railing systems for permanent, portable, or removable installations.

Lengths and Color Options

This family includes railing lengths from 24 inches to 120 inches, allowing facilities to create short barriers, long runs, or custom guardrail layouts. Standard silver aluminum models are available, with black, brown, green, orange, and red finish options for facility color coding, visibility, and layout coordination.
